The Amissville Methodist Church will be having a yard sale on Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The ladies will be serving lunch; there will be a white elephant table and tons of great finds for all. The rain date will be Oct. 12.
The Country Kids Playgroup resumed on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the Amissville Baptist Church. New families are welcome to join in the fun. The playgroup is a non-profit group for parents/caregivers and children ages infant to five years old. The group meets every Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon.
