NOTICE Kindly Take Notice that the Town Council of the Town of Washington will hold on the 9th day of October. 2002. at 7:30 pm at the Town Hall in Washington. Virginia a public hearing to consider ; the advisability of selling and/or conveying to CCLC its one half undivided interest in and to a 25' wide strip of land on the southwest boundary of the Lyle tract which strip contains 0.0977 acre. The Town Council shall further consider the advisability of selling and/or conveying to CCLC a 25' strip which is an extension of the above 25' wide strip containing 0.0527 acres. In return for the aforesaid conveyances, the Town shall receive from CCLC three contiguous 30' wide strips of land running from Mount Salem Avenue to the Lyle tract and the Avon Hall tract and CCLCs one-half interest in the remainder of the Lyle tract. The Town contemplates pay ing as additional consideration the sum of SI 2.127.61 The Town shall further consider the advisability of convey ing to CCLC additional portions of the Lyle tract and/or the Avon Hall tract for such considerations as may be agreed upon. Complete copies of all information pertaining to the above contemplated transactions are available at the Town Office for inspection. You are invited to attend and express vour views.
