per) and 2)immediately after Jones announced his candidacy, the Rappahannock News, sensing the possibility for abuse, stopped carrying Jones’ “Up in the Hollow” column which frankly disappointed me, as I did not think Jones had ventured into the improper and it kept the opinion pages of the paper from sliding into merely a “thank you” bulletin board. Jones could be relied upon to supply material for lively, intelligent debates and we all profited. Maybe Hagstrom can deliver the goods here if he crafts his “broadsides” with more care and common sense.
