Mr. Hill has been investigating the possibilities of the monotype print process for over 17 years, restricting his subject matter to black and white landscapes of the Virginia Piedmont which often have a soft photographic realism.
Mr. Hill’s monotypes have been selected for numerous juried shows in the mid-Atlantic region, including the annual “Art of Paper” Exhibition at the Maryland Federation of Art’s Gallery on the Circle, Annapolis and the biennial Irene Leache Memorial Exhibition at The Chrysler Museum, Norfolk, Va.
