Storing seeds
Containers for both collecting and storing seeds will be needed. I have a collection of shallow wooden boxes, bowls, small baking tins and paper box lids for picking seeds. Selfsealing white seed packets and airtight plastic vials (available from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, 540 894-9480) are my favored storage receptacles. Some people may find jars, envelopes and paper bags to be serviceable. I prefer consistency and compactness of size, as all my storage containers then go into specially made seed boxes, with compartments for organizing.
