Blanche Herbert
Born in Rappahannock
Blanche Campbell Herbert, 83, of Culpeper died Feb. 12 at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
She was born Jan. 28,1920 in Rappahannock County to the late John Amon Campbell and Blanche Jenkins Campbell.
Mrs. Herbert worked for J.J. Newberry’s for a number of years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Hammond Herbert Jr., and one brother, Irvin Campbell.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Ott of Remington; and Kay Haynes of Culpeper, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a beloved friend, Lee Cornell of Culpeper.
A graveside service was held Feb. 15 at Fairview Cemetery.
