Florence Atkins Jenkins, 61, of Culpeper, a loving wife, mother, and friend, died Saturday, March 1 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
She was born March 25, 1941 in Rappahannock to the late Virgil Jackson Atkins and Leacie Blanche Atkins.
Mrs. Jenkins retired from Bell Atlantic in Fairfax after 33 years of service. She continued working part-time at the State Police Headquarters in Culpeper.
