The savagery visited upon my friends and thousands of U.S. citizens that morning was brutal and sickening. But where is the outcry and rage against Saddam?
This very day, thousands of brave and valiant citizens are either on their way to the Gulf or already there.
Saddam's Gotterdammerung is only weeks away. Webster's defines Gotterdammerung as the collapse of a regime marked by catastrophic violence and disorder.
Richard Wagner wrote it well in a battle cry from the Gotterdammerung (1876). So as we send our nation's best into battle we join the chorus:
"To Arms! Tb Arms! All take up your weapons, good weapons! Strong weapons, sharpened for battle! There is danger! Danger! Woe! Woe!" And to the long suffering, dear people of Iraq; your freedom draweth nigh.
God bless our president, his counselors and our noble troops.
