The Annual Ecumenical Lenten Services will be held each Wednesday at the Washington Baptist Church March 12 through April 9.
The theme this year is “Lord I Believe.” A covered dish fellowship dinner will begin at 6:15 p.m. followed by worship services at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, March 12 the speaker will be Father Jerry Pokorsky with Reynolds Memorial Church of Sperryville furnishing the music, and Washington doing the set-up.
Nursery care is provided by the churches and everyone is invited to attend.
Happy birthday to Mrs. Shannon East of Tiger Valley, who will celebrate another year on March 5. Her husband, Scott, and daughters Sarah and Hannah wish her many happy returns of the day.
