RLEP program plans

Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection <RLEPi President Bob Lander and member Jim Gannon provided the board with information on RLEP's plans for the coming year.

Mr. Lander said that the organization's theme for 2003 is preserving our treasures' and. through a senes of programs and workshops, is endeavoring . . to help us all understand what we have and.why we should take the necessary steps to presene it for future generations.

Mr. Gannon noted that the first of the upcoming programs would be Farmhouses and Other Treasures of Rappahannock County.

This program, he said, was scheduled for April 6, from 2 to 4 p m., at the Trinity Episcopal Church, and would feature a talk and slide show by Henry Glassie. a noted national authority on vernacular architecture ...."'
