afraid and just want to survive.
I love living here in this county. The area is serene and beautiful and I find solace painting in my studio with the Blue Ridge in the background.
Still, anxiety gnaws at me and though it may seem far away the upcoming war terrorizes me. I miss my large family, my language and my roots. Yes, I’m lucky that I’m living in the U.S. where I can freely express my thoughts.
What I want to express here is that we, as a great nation, must make a deal with ourselves to commit great resources to working out better ways to resolve conflict than war and killing.
