With regard to the wastewater system, Mayor Leggett noted that the town was in the process of “reexamining the Clopton property for its suitability for a drainage system;” that the town had “the county’s definition of what area they want (of the Avon Hall property); and that the town is “awaiting Sunnyside’s response.”
Benson reported that the last proposal had been received from auctioneers interested in handling Avon Hall’s contents.
The council discussed the benefits of an on or off site auction, and Mayor Leggett asked for a report from Benson and Goebel on their recommendations as to auctioneer, location and auction date.
