have described the petition as “immaterial” instead. To me there’s little difference. Both statements serve to dismiss the good intentions of those who signed, erode the democratic process and discourage free speech.
It is my sincere wish that we listen to each other’s concerns and thoughtfully discuss them. Let’s work together as a community to maintain a high quality of life for everyone, now and in the future.
