Doris Vest is reported to be improving well, after knee surgery.
Plan now to attend Lenten services held at the Washington Baptist Church each Wednesday through April 9 beginning at 6:15 p.m. with a covered dish dinner and worship service at 7 p.m. Churches participating are Catholic, Episcopal, Baptist and Methodist.
The community breakfast held at the fire hall on Saturday morning was very well attended.
