The troop also reflected on the accomplishments and contributions of two Scouters who were honored at the Shenandoah Area Council Recognition Dinner the previous evening.
This event resembles a Court of Honor for adult leaders in the Council. Recognized from Rappahannock County and awarded with the Statuette Award were Boy Scout Troop 36 Committee Chairman Walt Longyear and Cub Scout Pack 123 Committee Chairman Libet Pierson.
The Statuette Award is presented to the top 1 percent of Scouters that have performed at least three years of service to a unit in the Council.
