Head Start program
Applications for the 2003-2004 school year are being accepted for the Skyline CAP Head Start preschool program at the Child Care and Learning Center for three and four year olds. Children must be at least three years of age by Sept. 30. This is a free program for income eligible families in Rappahannock County. For more information, call Becky Thorpe at 675-1872.
Babysitting classes offered
The Rappahannock 4-H program is offering a Super Sitter class for youths aged 12 and older on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rappahannock office of the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service. To register call Jan Besecker at 675-3619 by April 8.
Baptist church yard sale

Easter Cantata April 12

RLEP reschedules meeting
The March meeting of the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection Board of Directors has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24 at the Rappahannock County Library. The general business session will be followed by a discussion of the League's first of four sponsored public programs of 2003: "Farm Houses and Other Treasures of Rappahannock County.” Members and the public are invited to attend. A spring belly dance class has started on Tuesday nights with Charmaine Lee, director of SynergyDance, and will continue through April 22 at the Washington Town Hall.
