The issue, Barton said is not if it is synthetic, but if it is compatible with the architecture in the town.

The board, in an individual poll, had no objection to the Marvin windows, the Permex shutters and the floorboards for the porch as proposed by Worley and his wife. Charlie Kevis abstained from the vote on the floorboards.
