thing to be in this life. Everywhere you go, when people ask you what you do, you’re constantly confronted with looks of judgement and disbelief. And until I open my mouth and sing for people, not very many people have ever taken me seriously. So it’s been hard.

Wolfe and Vaandrager moved to Rappahannock County last October and immediately began booking shows at local coffeehouses, clubs and pubs. Wolfe handles her own publicity while Vaandrager, a live sound technician, does her sound and books her gigs.
