feel the area at large needs to aware of this possibility that might adversely impact their lives and livelihood. Finding the application proposal "buried” in the legal notice is like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack most people never read that far.
today, my husband and I pkkad up a copy of the Rappahannock News to read leisurely after our evening meal when we were unpleasantly and fearfully surprised to find your notice regarding the application by the Appalachian Club for an outdoor firing range.
We live one half mile from said property and have already been subjected to severe noise pollution by the rapid firing coming from the previous owner who, we understand, did not even have a permit for the firing range that was built.
