Other survivors include two step-children, Stacey Moore Bailey of Huntly, and Brandon Scott Moore of Chantilly and Remington; two grandchildren, Payton Nichole Bailey and Stuart Nicholas Bailey of Huntley; and a sister, Alice Luzzi of Zurich, Switzerland.
Dr. Krebser was active in the Rappahannock County Democratic party, the Rappahannock Farmers’ Association, the Cancer Society and Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation.
During his time in Washington, D.C. and McLean, he was president of the Swiss Club of D.C. for 10 years.
He served 21 years on the Rappahannock County Planning Commission, including a term as chairman.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to either of two tax-exempt, nonprofit funds set up in his name.
