Historic Properties Survey
Please join us for an exciting presentation and slide show by EHT Traceries, a Washington, DC-based firm specializing in architectural history and historic preservation. For more than a year, these architectural historians have been documenting the history of Rappahannock County in its homes, mills, toll houses, bridges, meeting places, churches, and other structures. Funds to conduct the survey have been raised from many private individuals and groups as well as the state and local governments.
Representatives from Traceries, the Department of Historic Resources, and the County will be present to answer questions.
The meeting will be held at the Theatre on Gay Street in Washington, VA on Sunday, June 15, 2003 from 2:00 until 3:30PM. A reception will follow on the lawn adjacent to the Theatre.
