Other developed countries have less than 300 gun related murders a year. Some have less than a 100. Mr. Cantor will continue to create fear in the people who believe that somebody is trying to take their hunting rifle away. But will he provide leadership on decreasing the level of violence in this country? I think not.
Finally, on the issue of American support for Israel. Mr. Cantor is a darling of the pro-Israel lobby. With his help billions of dollars a year flow from us to them. The F16 fighter jets, the Apache helicopters, the rifles, the bullets used to contain and attack Palestinian refugee camps. All made in the USA
