one sister, Caroline Mitts of Mt. Sterling 111., and five grandchildren, Julia Hill-Nichols, Ricard A. Hill, Shane Hill, Trace Carson and Stephen Carson, and three great-grandchildren, Katherine Hill, Catherine Carson and Nicole Carson.
A funeral service was held June 7 at the United Methodist Church in Front Royal. Interment was at the Union Cemetery Leesburg.
Archie B. Myers
Born in Rappahannock
Archie Braxton Myers, 83, of Warrenton died June 2 at his residence.
He was bom in Rappahannock County to the late Aubrey Myers and Susie Priest Myers.
Mr. Myers was a farmer near Warrenton, served on the Board of the Culpeper Farmer’s Cooperative and the Fauquier County Farm Bureau. He was a longtime member of the Warrenton Ruritan Club and as one of their projects served as a ticket taker at the Warrenton and Fauquier High School football games for over 50 years.
He served in the U. S. Navy in World War II in the South Pacific.
Mr. Myers is survived by several cousins.
A graveside service was held June 5 at the Warrenton Cemetery by the Rev. J. Richard Winter.
