The popular series of jazz concerts at the Theatre at Washington, Virginia continues on Saturday, April 17 at 8 p.m. with a program from the Chuck Redd Trio.
Redd will be playing vibes and drums, Richard Miller will play guitar, and James King will be heard on bass. t
Redd has long been one of the Theatre audience’s favorite jazz musicians. He first came to the Theatre several years ago with the Charlie Byrd Trio, which he joined at the age of 21 and with which he played all over the world until Charlie’s death.
Last month, Redd was featured at the March of Jazz, an all-star jazz festival in Clearwater, Florida working with Bill Charlap, Bucky Pizzarelli (both of whom have '* appeared at the Theatre) and others.
