The Senior class of Rappahannock County high School will present its class play on the nights of April 10 and 11 at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium. “Lock, Stock and Lipstick” is a three act comedy about the problems of the students of fictional Pembroke High School, and is expected to be quite entertaining. The cast of the play, which is directed by Mrs. Charles B. Palmer, includes: Frank Moffett, John Anderson, Segar Jones, Dottie Davis, Mike Brown, Roy Atkins, Susan Schaefer, Anne Jenkins, Linda Rowzie, Kays Johnson, Dana Snead. Thirteen members of the newly-organized Rappahannock Chapter of the Jaycees met Monday evening to elect T.CJLea, Jr. as its president. Other officers elected were James W. Wayland, Internal vice-president; Larry P. Bolyard, secretary; Rodney Vest, treasurer, Charles W. Leake, Jaybird. The Board of Directors consists of Charles K. Estes, Larry L. Welch, and Edward M. Clark. Donald Dodson was chosen State Director. Earl Yancey of Amissville, a ninth grade student at Rappahannock County High School, placed second in the Future Farmers Federation public speaking contest held April 2 at Loudoun Valley High School. Each school held contests and the best candidates represented them at the federation meeting.
