Last Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Butler of Smith Heritage Lane were honored with a surprise party for their 40th wedding anniversary and was held at the Lakeside Clubhouse on Rt. 522 near Culpeper.
Our friends up Woodville way are having their “Relay for Life” team fund raiser on Saturday, April 10 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. It takes place at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 618 Red Oak Mountain Road. Baked goods, crafts, potted plants, etc. will be on sale. This event is sponsored by Melvin’s Crusaders and all are welcome, according to spokesperson Miss Ellen Timbers.
Congratulation to Angela Van Nostrand for having made the all “A” Honor Roll for the past grading period at Floyd T. Binns School, where she is an eight grader.
