Two more young people who attended a fateful party last winter that was followed by the death of high school football star Dylan Corbin pleaded guilty Tuesday to alcohol charges in General District Court.
Rachel M. Sharp, 19, of Washington and Gordon M. McGuire,19, of Linden were each sentenced to 50 hours of community service, six months of probation and suspension of their driving licenses. They both paid court costs of $64.
Luke told Judge Charles B. Foley that Sharp was one of the party-goers who went to West Virginia and obtained tequila and vodka, and bought 60 bottles of beer in Front Royal which was taken to the party.
He said she also faces charges in Juvenile Court for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and in Warren County where the beer was bought.
The charges stemmed from a party on the night of Dec. 29 and early dawn of Dec. 30. Some 22 young people, many underage, gathered at a home owned by a woman who was out of town. An all-night party ensued
