Each year for the past decade, Rappahannock teens have joined in the annual “True Love Waits” campaign by participating in a local True Love Waits rally.
True Love Waits promotes sexual abstinence until marriage, and each year dozens of local teens pledge to follow its precepts. At the local rally, held March 14 at the Washington Baptist Church, nearly half the participants were recommitting their pledges of sexual purity by signing up for their second or third consecutive year. Their goal: to abstain from sex until marriage.
