Pomp and circumstance and a few “pearls of wisdom” highlighted the graduation ceremonies at the Rappahannock County High School as some 91 students came forward on Saturday, June 18, to receive their diplomas. As has become customary to set the mood for such a solemn occasion, the prize-winning RCHS band played Edward Elgar’s famous “Pomp and Circumstance,” as well as a selection of other musical compositions.

While the highest scholastic honor went to Anna Kreyling as -the class Valedictorian, the hon;or of Salutatorian was co-shared -by students Kelsey Hutcheson .and Mattie Nawrocki.
