In a symbolic and colorful ceremony last week, Dr. Massie—joined by his staff of other doctors in the large and small animal practice, hitched a plow to “Edith,” a large draft mare, and broke ground for their new Large Animal “haulin” facility. The new building, expected to be finished in the fall, will allow Rose Hill to provide full service hospitalization for large animals, minor surgery, digital radiography, video endoscopy, embryo transfer, and neonatal intensive care.

Additionally, the new 6,000 square foot facility will allow Rose Hill to better serve clients in emergencies and provide more rapid response times to these situations.
