Family in Amissville
Shelton Gene Adams, 64, of Catharpin, Va. died on June 16, at Inova, Fairfax Hospital.
He was a self-employed contractor and a member of the Elks #2521 of Manassas, Va. for over 31 years.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife Shirley E. Adams, daughter Deborah Thorpe of Catharpin, Va, two sons Gene S. Adams, Jr. and David Adams both of Amissville.
Additional survivors include four brothers Warren Adams, of The Plains, Va.,; Robert Adams of Warrenton, Va.; Kenneth Adams of Louisa, Va.; and James Adams of Bealeton, Va. , and a sister Ethel Colburn of Purcellville, Va. Also survived by nine grandchildren.
