students. They set the tone for a veiy productive school year. We are extremely proud of their academic accomplishments and their performance in chorus, band, athletics, and SGA Leadership. Seventh grade parents have been extremely supportive of school functions, events, field trips and other activities such as PTO involvement at the school.
We take our hats off to this group of young people and wish them well as they prepare for the transition to the high school. They will be missed, but the teachers have prepared them well for the new challenges they will face in high school. Our rising seventh grade class will have some big shoes to fill and we hope that they too will rise to the task of creating a school that is Second to None.’ ”
Graduate Jacob Racer had this to say about his elementary school days.
“RCES has been my school ever since kindergarten. Out of those years, seventh grade has been the best. This year was different from the others. This year was very hard. We could not just breeze through our classes, we were truly challenged by the teachers. They helped us successfully conquer this challenge. We also got to attend Williamsburg on our class trip. That was amazing. We learned more about these four people then we ever would have just in the classroom. They are Ms. Holly Massie, Ms. Natalie Hathaway Ms. Lucy Ann Meayer and Mr. Gerard
