Loudoun County Government in Leesburg. VA, is seeking an experienced grants management specialist to assist with the implementation of a new Countywide grants initiative. This position will report to the Budget Manager under the leadership of the grants analyst and will be responsible for developing information on public and private grant resources and assisting with the preparation of grant proposals and applications. The grants specialist will work collaboratively with administrative, financial and budget staff to track grant funded activities and ensure compliance with grantor guidelines and requirements. The, ideal candidate will have prior experience identifying and developing outside grants resources in a government or nonprofit environment and thorough knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of grants management and budgeting. This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree with significant coursework in public administration, public policy, grants management or a closely related field and three years directly related experience.
