In spite of the location’s rustic exterior, Cindy Beblavy and Sue Ellis believed that the apple shed r was perfect for their long time 1 dream. In the meantime they have turned their leased space into a magnificent showcase for artistic supplies, paintings, and sculpture.
While celebrating her birthday last Thursday, Beblavy spent the afternoon putting finishing touches on her store. After hanging several paintings of some brilliant red flowers by Mireille Molette she paused and reflected.
“She is a fantastic artist,” said Beblavy as she stood back to admire the quantity and quality of color in her store. “She’s amazing in both pastels and oils, and her portraits have so much energy.”
Molette is an artist from France currently living inFairfax.
In the front section of the store Beblavy and her business partner Ellis sit comfortably on the sofa that they have set up for entertaining visitors.
Her dog Handsome, a large white comer is Artistic License, a former business in Culpeper,
