The results
Interest rates proposals from the VML for the Fall 2006 Bond Pool, were based on current interest rates. Currently a 30 year bond would be locked in at 4.64 percent.
The Tbwn Council has also considered financial proposals from Virginia Resources Authority (VRA) and the USDA Rural Development in Harrisonburg for both the reservoir project and the wastewater project. The town also has left over debt for recent improvements to the water system.
