This sculpture of two
narwhals was done by Culpeper artist Bob Bouquet.

“This is my dream,” Beblavy said as she gazed around at her finished shop.
In the past, she spent time working in various after school art programs and as a substitute teacher both in the Fauquier County school system and at Hearthstone School in Rappahannock County. She has also assisted teaching at a Montessori school in Manassas.
In addition, Beblavy has worked with the Boys and Girls club.
She is a life long artist, studying at several art schools and displaying her own work at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C.
Once upon a dream
Beblavy used to spend time helping her friend Joyce at Perelandra, an environmental science farm in JefFersonton. “We always played a lot of “what if” games,” she said. “We talked about our future dreams that we had for our fives.”
“She was our muse,” Beblavy said, “a catalyst of sorts.”
Although they originally began in Culpeper, the lease for the building was beyond their budget. As Beblavy was on the lookout for a new spot she discovered all of the space available in Flint Hill.
Her friend Joyce was eager to help them relocate and volunteered much of her time to make the dream come true.
“I keep saying that it’s all her fault, but I say it lovingly,” smiled Beblavy.
