Times Community Newspapers is seeking an experienced photo journalist to join its award-winning photography staff in Northern Virginia. This is an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will have substantial internship experience, the willingness and ability to shoot a variety of assignments, and excellent written and oral communication. Hard work, determination, the ability to sympathize with subjects, a teamwork mentality, flexibility and sense of humor are a must. Experience with Canon Digital equipment and appropriate computer software programs is essential. The perfect candidate will also have a desire to generate new story ideas, in-depth and otherwise, and follow through with them.
