and 25-16. “Our communication fell a little bit, and we didn’t have the same intensity, although we executed well,” said Nieters. Nieters noted that the Lady Panthers served better in this match as opposed to the last time that they faced the Generals. He also noted that Emily Carter, an offensive player played very consistently in last weeks games. Carters serving record stands as the best in the team.
The Panthers have eight more games scheduled prior to the Bull Run District Tournament. “We’ve had an excellent year so far,” said Nieters, “We’re just trying to be careful not to peak when the important part of the season hits.”
The team will travel this Thursday to face Madison County High School.
“This season has been great,” Nieters said, “All of the girls are great athletes, they have great chemistry, they are all friends, and they work together really well as a team.”
