Position with the County's DB2 based Land Records System (LMIS) team. This is a hands-on team leader position supervising a staff of programmer/analysts. Responsibilities include management of an inhouse developed land records system, and development and implementation of system user initiatives. Assures all system operations work effectively and efficiently. Excellent verbal and writing skills, and superior customer service relations required. Land records systems and GIS knowledge preferred. Requires a working knowledge of Microfocus COBOL, DB2, HTML, Javascripts, MS Visual Studio (ASP.Net and VB.NET), Windows, and MS Office. Requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Master's Degree in computer science or related field and four years experience in systems design/ development and project management to include at least six months supervisory experience.
