The Alpha course: An Introduction to the Christian Faith

Little Fork church of Rixeyville invites the public to participate in an absorbing introduction to the Christian faith through a non-denominational, 11 week course entitled ‘Alpha.’

Alpha is an opportunity for everyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed atmosphere of open discussion. Questions such as What is the point of life?,’ ‘Is forgiveness possible?’ and “What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?1 will be explored in a low-key, friendly and fun atmosphere.

The course is scheduled to begin the evening of Wednesday, September 20, and. continue on consecutive

Wednesday evenings until the end of November. The course is free to participants, and dinner will be provided for those with more than hungry souls. For more information call Little Fork Church at 9374306.

Shawl Ministry

Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn? Come and be a part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, a group which lovingly creates shawls for those in their community that may be grieving, dealing with illness, or suffering from a loss, and also for those experi- , encing a joy such as a wedding or new baby.
