concerns the land application of sludge, up for discussion at a Board of Supervisors public hearing on October 2,. and Wayland weighed in on that as well.
“I am definitely against sludge being used on land in Rappahannock County . I would like to see the supervisors do anything within the law they can to make it difficult to use sludge in Rappahannock,” said Wayland.
Overall, Wayland believes that the current county government has done a good job, and can’t find much that he would change if elected.
“I don’t know that I would change anything dramatically. I want to fight the fight for slow growth, I want to be fiscally responsible to the taxpayers. I’m retired, and I’m available,” said Wayland.
