Very likely you missed the news. An easy oversight; you may be and are forgiven. The event was wedged somewhere between the next Paris Hilton sighting, reports of cheap gas locations, a local sludge-fest, and admonitions that the great struggle for civilization is upon us; tough to keep anything in perspective any more, isn’t it? But the essence of the story is this, in case you missed it: A twenty-ton block of granite recently landed in the midst of a vast wooded area in Spotsylvania County.
Sounds Idee one of those things that periodically happen in Siberia or some other God-forsaken place, not here in our geographic backyard. The local ordinances preclude such things, don’t they?
