Flower Sale
A year has passed by so swiftly, and now it is hard to believe that it is time for the Trinity Episcopal 50th Annual Dried Flower and Home Tbur.
It has been a fixture for the fall of many calenders for years. Drying flowers seems like a very old-fashioned thing to do, what with the abundance of silk flowers available nowadays and the florist sections of supermarkets always available . But finding and preserving nature’s bounty has it own rewards.
Women have been gathering all their materials and have begun the task of fashioning the perfect arrangement for each and every donated and collected container.
The dried flower arrangements also will decorate the three houses chosen for the House Tour this year, Jessamine Hill in Washington, Seaway of Flint Hill, and Bruton in Castleton Look for ticket information as the weekend draws closer.
