The recently reorganized Loudoun County Assessors Office is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, energetic professional to fill the newly created CAMA (Computer Automated Mass Appraisal) Analyst position. This position will serve as a systems analyst for the CAMA system and report directly to the County Assessor. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to implementing, modifying, and maintaining the CAMA system. Core tasks include assisting with the implementation of policies and procedures related to the CAMA system; monitoring CAMA operations; performing systems analysis; managing database security; conducting staff training; generating statistical and tracking reports; and assisting with long range planning, system upgrades, and analysis of processes and procedures. This position will assist also in the procurement and implementation of a new CAMA system The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in real estate and automated systems Requires a Bachelors degree in information technology, business, real estate management or a related field and 3 years experience in managing and administering an automated system or a combination of education, experience and training equivalent to 7 years of progressive systems administrator experience Requires possession of a valid drivers license. Successful candidate will undergo credit, background and DMV driver's license checks.

Solid Waste Management
Administers Chapter 1084 of the Codified Ordinances for Solid Waste Collection and Transportation. Conducts all activities related to permitting and compliance of solid waste collection and transportation ordinance Administers Chapter 1086 ol the Codified Ordinances for Solid Waste Reduction and Recycling. Conducts all activities related to compliance with the County's recycling requirements to residential and nonresidential recycling activities. Conducts outreach activities to regulated community regarding compliance requirements and enforcement consequences. Meets established schedules for permitting activities, solid waste collector and business reporting per Chapters 1084 and 1086 Develops and presents routine and annual reports on County solid waste activities by material type by facility, recycled material volumes by generation source and material types. Reviews solid waste collection, transportation, and recycling complaints; investigates and follows through with the appropriate enforcement action Position requires knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices of solid waste management, recycling, environmental sciences and protection. Knowledge of state and federal environmental protection and waste management laws, toxic and hazardous waste programs and issues and workplace safety. Knowledge of County regulatory agencies and ordinances related to solid waste facility compliance and enforcement, including Zoning Ordinance Administration and enforcement, hire Safety and Officers. Site Planning and Land Use Review functions General knowledge of computer operations, database management, and operation of environmental field testing equipment. Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely orally and in writing ability to explain ordinances and actions to regulated community, to interpret rcpmtv and to provide conclusions, reports and summaries. Ability to wotk effectively with colleagues and the public.
