Lifelong dream
The Humphreys imported Bouncer as a 3-year-old in 1999, hoping to someday fill the gap when time came to retire their gray Chalk Talk.
When first spotted in Wales, Bouncer “had been trained to pull his previous owner's cart for Sunday pub runs,” Sybil said. Shortly after the Humphreys imported him, Bouncer progressed to the preliminary level, then to intermediate, then to advanced (now with an internationally experienced competitor filling in as whip instead of Sybil). The world began to notice the flashy dark bay with white stocking and blaze whose movements were a “10.”
