“He rolls up his sleeves and he’s willing to work,” said Ken Stroupe, who worked as press secretary for Governor George Allen. “That’s why he has been successful.
“To be frank, he doesn’t have to work that hard,” Stroupe added. “It’s a district all but guaranteed to go Republican. I admire that he works as hard as he does, given the demographics of the district. It suggests to me that he really cares.”
