Seven Ponds news
B&S Site Development has completely moved its operation off the property owned by B&S co-owner Michael L. Brown Jr. on Seven Ponds Road in Amissville, County Administrator John McCarthy said Monday.
Brown’s application for a specialexception permit to operate a contractor’s yard on the 25-acre agricultural property was unanimously denied by the Board of Supervisors in December.
The issue did not end there, as ongoing complaints from Brown’s neighbors led county officials to draft a consent order to address alleged violations on the property and threaten legal action against B&S.
McCarthy said the consent order was never signed, because the company moved the offending equipment off the lot before the document became necessary.
