nock was outscored 183-27 in their five Bull Run games this year. The team was 2-3 in nondistrict games, but outscored those five opponents 92-64.
Coach Mike Williams was able to stimulate some excitement . in the fledgling program this season. Some 60 boys in eighth grade and the high school played football this year, compared to about 40 students last year.
“I had a fun season and I had a really good bunch of kids,” Williams said after the game' Friday, noting that none of his players had any disciplinary problems this season. “I think the kids had fun and I know I had fun.”
He said he was proud of the way the defense played this season and especially proud of the Panthers special teams. “We didn’t give up a single score on special teams [this season],”he said.
Williams also complimented the seniors on this year’s team.
