Position available with Outdoor Maintenance Division. Assist Equipment Maintenance Coordinator with performing routine preventative maintenance and equipment repair on alf grounds maintenance equipment to ensure optimum equipment performance. Perform inventory tasks including: receive shipments for Dept, verify physical count, send required paperwork to Receiving & Distribution Coordinator. Assemble orders for distribution, coordinate pickup and sign off by staff. Responsible for grounds and structural maintenance, assist with athletic fields preparation, ensuring fields in game ready condition. Assist with snow removal. Schedule may include weekday, evening, week-end hours. High School Diploma with 2 years job related experience in maintenance and repair of complex grounds and athletic equipment. Graduation from a technical school preferred. Basic computer skills required. Valid Drivers License and DMV record checks; OSHA certification as a forklift operator required. CDL Class A with passenger, tanker, and airbrake endorsement highly preferred. Possession of CDL license requires participation in pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and ongoing alcohol & substance abuse testing policy as required by DOT &l_oudoun County policies.
