Dec. 4: Free workshop

on coping with grief

Hospice of the Rapidan will offer a free workshop for people who are grieving the loss of a family, member, loved one or dose friend this holiday season. Fadng the holidays can be especially difficult when dealing with the loss of a loved one. The program offers partfoipants the opportunity to discuss their issues, concerns, and questions with others who are going through similar experiences and 1o get assistance from Hospice of the Rapidan’s grief support team. All members of the public are welcome and np prior affiliation with Hospice of the Rapidan is necessary. Partfoipants may choose between two sessions on Tuesday, December 4, one in the afternoon from 2:00-3:30 pm and one in the evening from 7:00-8:30 pm. Both will be held in Hospice of the Rapidan’s community room at 1200 Sunset Lane, Suite 2320, Mulberry Commons, Culpeper. Pre-registration is appreciated but not necessary. Dec. 6: “Buy Fresh, Buy LocaT

To explore the development of Virginia-based local and regional food systems and discuss a variety of local form and food projects, the Virginia Cooperative Extension is hosting a one-day conference titled “Connecting Farms, Food and Communities - Developing the Producer, Market Table Link” at Graves Mountain Lodge om Route 670. Conference is from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost of $20 indudes lunch, refreshments and materials.
